Nancy A. Lovas, RA, is an award-winning architect with over three decades of experience. She is LEED-accredited and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. Her professional journey began with the renowned American classicist Allan Greenberg, where she spent ten years. Under Mr. Greenberg's mentorship, her passion for classical architecture was developed, laying the foundation for her professional focus. Following her time with Greenberg, she worked at the New York City firm Ferguson, Shamamian & Rattner, where she refined her practice of classical architecture. This experience further shaped her approach to blending historical inspiration with contemporary functionality.
Lovas Architects, LLC, established in 2003, is an independent practice offering architectural and design services for a broad range of projects, including restorations, additions, and new construction. Rooted in the pursuit of historic preservation and classical-styled architecture, we partner with clients to define the unique inspiration for each project. Drawing from the site’s landscape and integrating the client's program, we identify all potential solutions and provide a finished product that is seamless in form and practical in function.
Our firm’s small size allows us to interpret our clients’ desires through direct involvement and a hands-on approach in all phases of the design and construction process. At Lovas Architects, we are committed to providing each project, regardless of size, with the utmost personalized and specialized attention.
